Stitch up some style while mastering Monogramming in this 2 hour session. We’ll explore couture monogramming and practise 5 unique styles of creative lettering.

You’ll get hands-on experience, crafting 5 different letters using 5 distinct techniques. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be ready to experiment and create any look you desire.

Whether you want  to personalise your wardrobe or add a bespoke touch to your home decor, this workshop will equip you with the skills to make your mark with needle and thread.

This workshop is best suited for beginners to hand embroidery or those with basic embroidery knowledge, but all are welcome!

Monogramming is a wonderful way to personalise your own scarves, pillowcases, napkins or even socks. I will take you, step by step through the process of setting your frame, transferring the selected letters to fabric and finally stitching your letters in the traditional and contemporary way.

Materials needed:

DMC or Anchor stranded cotton thread - in any colour

Pencil HB or frixion ball pen

Please have selected a five-letter word and its font.

A piece of fabric. I recommend calico or similar for a first go, but any is fine!

A 7-inch embroidery hoop or slightly bigger (personal preference)
